Hordenine isn't a new compound, but it's a lesser known PEA. It's formed from Tyrosine in the body and has some interesting properties. Many supplements include this in a preworkout, but not as a stimulant(it's missing the alpha methyl group necessary for binding). While it can have mild stim effects, it's main function is to act as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOi).

This is the enzyme that breaks down all of the PEA/DMAA/DMBA/ephedrine, ect compounds bc they all have 1 amine(NH2) group. The 2 methyl groups on the N in hordenine help it bind to MAO and prevent the stim molecules from binding. It's not as strong as some Rx MAOi but it definitely can help your preworkout last longer. Typical doses are 50-200mg for max effect. It's pretty cheap and could be worth adding to your preworkout.
